A la vez que te digo que disfrutes del espectáculo del mundo, que estés encandilado y abrumado por su belleza, te digo que no estés encandilado, que no estés abrumado, pues así de magnífico debe ser el mundo. Ama a las estrellas. Ellas son deslumbrantes. Ámalas y sosténlas y declara su belleza. Haz honor a las estrellas. Haz honor a toda la belleza del Universo, pues es tuyo. La belleza es tuya a tal punto que no tienes que apegarte a ella.
Lo que estoy tratando de decir es que si hay una noche nublada y no se ven las estrellas, no tienes que desesperarte. Ama muchísimo, y así no tendrás que tener lo que amas a la vista. Veas las estrellas o no, ellas están allí. No se han ido. No dependes de verlas. En todo caso, ellas te ven a ti, pues ven un reflejo de ellas mismas en ti. Las estrellas hacen brillar su luz sobre ti a pesar de las nubes o del smog. Las estrellas existen. La belleza existe. Y están reflejadas en ti. No hay nada de lo que te tengas que aferrar, amado. Ni siquiera de la vida misma. No hay nada que tú debas tener sólo porque lo tienes todo. No importa el auto nuevo brillante que no tienes. No importa la presencia ni la falta de lo obvio. Amplía tu percepción para incluir las glorias del mundo y del Cielo, las veas enfrente de ti o no. Cuando eres un buen amigo, amas a tu amigo en las buenas o en las malas. Tu amor por él no debe depender de que él sea todo lo que tú quieres que sea en un determinado momento. No expulsas a tu amigo de tu corazón porque él no está siempre radiante. Tampoco necesitas tener envidia del mundo cuando él no es el alma gemela perfecta que habías deseado. Cuando el mundo no te presenta su perfil perfecto ¿no puedes amarlo de todos modos? ¿Por qué razón perderías la esperanza en el mundo y en tu vida en él? ¿Por qué razón arrojarías el mundo a los perros, digamos? Vives en una casa. La casa no siempre te parece perfecta. A veces el techo gotea o una ventana vibra o las escaleras crujen. No te las agarras con tu casa por no ser perfecta. La podrías acicalar en su lugar. El mundo es tu hogar, y merece una mayor apreciación de tu parte. Por favor deja de señalar los defectos del mundo para ti o para otros. No importan sus arrugas. Multiplica el amor en el mundo en su lugar. Dale al mundo un golpecito en la cabeza y ámalo. Haz que el mundo sea el amor de tu vida. Deja que tu vida sea amor. Si quieres que el mundo sea diferente, si quieres que tu vida sea diferente, entonces dale crédito. Cuando ves la vida como te gusta, hazle saber lo que te gusta. En la luz de tu apreciación, el mundo florecerá. Tú florecerás. Los desiertos florecerán. Aparecerán oasis. Es tan simple, amado. Cuando tú menosprecias al mundo, el mundo siente tu desprecio. Oh, My beloveds, may your journey take you far beyond the shores of the bounded world! What the world contains is wonderful, and wonderful for you, and yet, at the same time, it is not enough. Running along the surface of life, you tend to falter. You fall into disarray.
It is not that life has to be smooth sailing for you. It is that you need more than what the extant world itself can offer you. It is not that you need flights of fancy. It is that you already know there is more for you, that it is yours and it waits for you. You may feel that the "more" is just out of reach, and yet it is right within you. It has already been within reach, beloveds. The more that you are seeking, the more that you deserve, the more that you must have - all of it is already yours. Your dreams have already landed. They parachuted down, perhaps when you were not looking, or you were looking elsewhere. All you seek is already yours. It is not even yours for the asking, because, when your dreams have already arrived, who is there to ask for them but yourself? Your dreams may have arrived like a package when you were out somewhere else, perhaps out to lunch. That there are deliveries you have not yet noticed does not mean that they have not arrived. They just haven't yet arrived in your awareness. The dream you have for Greaterness has already been fulfilled. Your dreaming of it, wishing for it, even when you don't quite know its name - it has already arrived, and you have not yet noticed. It had already arrived at the moment you first thought of it. Your dreams of aspiration are the same as your dreams of fulfillment. It only takes your noticing, beloveds. I am talking of bigger dreams than the ones most often spoken of in the world. I am speaking of the closeness of Our association. I am speaking of Our Oneness Supreme and all that it entails. I am speaking of Heaven. I am speaking of the Heaven of your birthright. I am speaking of the Totality of Oneness that you so yearn for and don't understand why it is not yet yours. Only in your awareness is it not. It is already yours. It was always yours. You have never been outside the circumference of this Oneness you yearn for. In fact, there is no circumference to be outside of. All of the love you seek, all of the love you seek to give, all of it, all of your dreams, are already stationed within you. They are part of you. They are melted within you. They are the sum and substance of you. You have been looking for your glasses that you simply forgot are on your forehead. What else could be meant by "The Kingdom of Heaven is within"? If I told you that your keys were in your pocket, you would no longer look for them on the table. You would reach in your pocket. So now I ask you to reach into your heart, into that powerhouse of your heart, and find Me there already situated within you. I have never been anywhere else. You may think that is a preposterous statement, but you think so only because you haven't understood. You haven't known better. But now I have told you, and now you know, and now you no longer run around in a flurry. The whole Universe is contained within you. That means all of it. Not just some of it, not just a meager portion, but all of it. All of Heaven and Earth is contained within you. In you. Not in someone else, even though everyone has all of Heaven and Earth too. No one has a lesser share. No one has a greater share. The availability is for all because the All is One. There is no one else. God Said:
Life may change you, that's true. But it's also true that a change within you changes your life. You in more glory will lead a life of more glory, though it may not be the glory the world assumes. Others may not even notice. But when you are at a higher level of your development, you are at a higher level, and what perhaps felt good to you before, no longer will. Something else does. What this all means is that you are coming closer to the real you rather than the assumed identified you that you have been grappling with.
Don't feel dismayed at vague stirrings of discontent. You just haven't reached yourself yet. Your awareness of yourself hasn't quite yet come to the fore. But one day you will notice, and that day is soon. Vague feelings of discontent are a signal that you have not been quite honest with yourself. But you are becoming more honest. Honest means you are coming closer to truth, removing the facades that you thought held you up but which kept you away. What I am saying is that you are already beyond your bound concepts of yourself. You passed them long ago. Now no longer think of yourself the ways you used to think of yourself. You have broken out, and now you go further. Now you go beyond. Now you do things and present yourself in ways you never dreamed of. Now you are in a different league. You thought you were always on the sides, but now you find that you are the one up at bat. In fact, you find that you are the pitcher and catcher as well. There is nothing that you are not now. Perhaps you used to be quiet and unassuming. Perhaps you used to be loud and forthcoming. Now you will be what you are. You will respond to My needs. "Needs" is an odd word to associate with Me. We will say that it is My need for you to shine, and so shine you will. You were always a bright light, but you hid yourself behind a mushroom. Now you do not hide from yourself. Now you proclaim yourself. Now you take part in life and make it what you will. Now you do not wait for someone else. You do not wait for Me. You go ahead and reveal the honest-to- God's truth of you. You held yourself by tight strings, and now you unloose them. Now you partake in life. You have wondered what life is for, and now you find it is for you to be who you are. What a relief that is. You have nothing to live up to. The truth of you is not somewhere else. It is not something you have to chase, for you have it already. But it is something you have to find. And finding is noticing. Until now you have been hampering yourself. Today you unmask yourself. Unmask yourself to yourself. What a find! What a discovery you are. What a blessing upon earth. What else can you be when I made you and put you there? I made you for something. I did not make you for nothing. Accept at the very least that I made you for today. Pick up this day and find yourself right here in it. Who are you, and what is before you? Which stone do you pick up in life and turn over? What lies under the stone? What story do your hands reveal? And at which spot do you return the stone you picked up, and who are you that leaves it there? La vida podría cambiarte, eso es cierto. Pero también es cierto que un cambio dentro de ti cambia tu vida. Si estás inmerso en más gloria llevarás una vida más gloriosa, aunque puede que no sea la gloria que el mundo asume. Otros puede que ni se den cuenta. Pero cuando estás en un nivel superior de tu desarrollo, estás en un nivel superior, y quizás lo que antes te hacía bien, ya no lo hace. Lo hace algo más. Lo que todo esto significa es que te estás cercando a la persona que eres en realidad, más que a la identidad asumida con la que has estado lidiando.
No te sientas consternado por la imprecisión conmovedora del descontento. Aún no te has localizado a ti mismo. Tu conciencia de ti todavía no ha pasado a primera plana. Pero un día la notarás, y ese día es pronto. Los sentimientos imprecisos del descontento son una señal de que no has sido del todo honesto contigo mismo. Pero te estás volviendo más honesto. Honesto significa que te estás acercando a la verdad, removiendo las fachadas que creías que te retenían pero que te mantenían alejado. Te has preguntado para qué es la vida, y ahora encuentras que la vida existe para que seas quien eres. ¡Qué alivio es eso! No tienes que cumplir con nada. La verdad sobre ti no está en algún otro lugar. No es algo que tengas que perseguir, pues ya la tienes. Pero es algo que tienes que encontrar. Y encontrar es notar. Hasta ahora te has estado poniéndote obstáculos solo. Hoy te quitas la máscara. Desenmascárate ante ti. ¡Qué hallazgo! ¡Qué descubrimiento! ¡Qué bendición sobre la Tierra! ¿Qué otra cosa puedes ser cuando te hice y te puse allí? Te hice por algo. No te hice por nada. Lo que le suceda a su cuerpo, no puede sucederles a ustedes.
Contrario al sentimiento que prevalece en la Tierra, lo más importante en el mundo es no mantener vivo al cuerpo. No es necesario aferrar tan ajustadamente la vida al cuerpo. Cierto, no hay razón para hacer que el cuerpo se vaya más que el aferrarse a él. El cuerpo físico tiene su período de servicio. Sólo dura una vida. Pero no para ustedes, amados. Ustedes son eternos. Conectados o desconectados de un cuerpo, ustedes son eternos. Aquello que son ustedes es eterno. No importa qué tanto se identifiquen con su cuerpo, ustedes no son su cuerpo. Es muy importante cuando moran en él. Incluso es secundario para ustedes. Nutran a su cuerpo físico, consérvenlo lubricado, hónrenlo. Su cuerpo les presta un gran servicio. Su cuerpo es el vehículo en el cual se transportan mientras tienen un físico en la Tierra. Ustedes son visiblemente conocidos por medio de él. Sin duda, su cuerpo es un milagro. Llega un tiempo cuando su cuerpo termina su servicio para ustedes y el Universo. Su función concluye y entonces, el espíritu de ustedes se eleva por completo a su Fuente y ustedes continúan una aventura ilimitada sin su cuerpo al cual se habituaron y amaron tanto, aún hasta cuando no estaban satisfechos con él. El mundo puede decir que ustedes perdieron su cuerpo. Amados, ustedes lo dejan como un par de viejos pantalones que se quitan. Ustedes dejan atrás a su cuerpo y ya no reina la importancia que tenía. Tengan en cuenta que cuando sus seres queridos dejan su cuerpo físico, se han liberado de él. Oh, si…ahora ellos pueden volar. El cuerpo fue fiel y ustedes lo trataron bien, y aún así no están en deuda con él. Su forma física no es un recuerdo, es un simple vehículo con sólo una vida de garantía. La garantía es limitada y nadie sabe por cuánto tiempo. El nacer en un cuerpo físico es algo hermoso. Es tan divertido. Ustedes pueden correr con él, caminar con él, sentarse con él, comer con él, dormir con él. En verdad su cuerpo físico es todo un compañero. Piénsenlo, él alberga a su alma! Pero solo por un tiempo, sólo hasta cierto punto. Su cuerpo depende de ustedes, no ustedes de él. Amados, su cuerpo no es su dios. Desde luego que ustedes sirven a su cuerpo mientras él les sirve a ustedes y sin embargo, no pretende ser su dios. Amen a su cuerpo. Amen lo que él hace por ustedes. Siéntense en el sol con él, pero no lo adoren como si no pudieran arreglárselas sin él. El cuerpo no es supremo, ustedes lo son. Ustedes se las pueden arreglar muy bien sin su cuerpo. Consideren a su cuerpo como un reloj de cuerda que se detendrá a una hora determinada. Su cuerpo los lleva a ustedes, les hace bien. En realidad su cuerpo los adora a ustedes. El sabe que está contratado. El sabe que está hecho para servirles hasta que ya no pueda hacerlo. Que su cuerpo les sirva bien. More and more you are going to be wondering whose thoughts you are thinking. You will wonder:
"Are these Your thoughts, God, or are they mine? Where oh where do my thoughts come from? Do You emanate a vibration that filters down to me? Are Your thoughts filtered vibrations that my mind changes and alters in order to accommodate them? And, finally, do these thoughts burst forth in the adulterated form that I interpret as my own, that I have been calling my own, far too often a far cry from the pureness of what must have been Your original burst of love? "It has to be that all energy that arises on Earth originates from You in Heaven, doesn't it? And are not thoughts energy? Are not my thoughts energy? "I pray there will be less filtering. With less filtering, then my thoughts will become more like Yours, God - dare I say more Godlike? Do my thoughts become then more loving, and therefore I will be able to love more and more equitably? May this happen soon! "It has to be possible that I will become more genuinely loving. It has to be that my thoughts will become less random. It has to be that I will curse less in traffic or at unbidden memories of one recollection or another. It has to be that the day will come when I no longer mutter under my breath. It has to be. I long for it. "As my thoughts follow Yours more closely, it has to be that I will also think less. I wonder what will take the place of all my thoughts. I like to think it would be knowing, just knowing instead, just knowing, just being. Beloveds, beloved sons and daughters of Mine, inasmuch as We are, in Reality, One, you will notice that Our thoughts will commingle more. There will be less separation. Is this not what you seek, to be more One with Me? The time will come when there will be less difference between Us, and that includes Our thinking. Once all the fluff goes away and clouds lift, clarity inevitably comes to the fore. Quite naturally there will be less perceived division. Then you will truly come into your own, beloveds, which means My Own. You will not own Me. I will not own you. We will be consciously Oneness dancing on Earth. Not only will you not know the difference between your thoughts and Mine, you will not know the difference any longer between you and the one you seemingly talk to. You will begin to know that you talk to yourself, for the same light that glows in Me glows in you and all those seeming individuals before you. When this happens, beloveds, it is quite natural. You will not slap your thighs. You will just go along on an elevator that has risen higher. You will not think about what floor the elevator is taking you to. You will just be there. In fact, it won't matter which floor you get to because the Elevator Operator will be I, and, when you get off, it will be I Who gets off, and it will be I that you greet when you get off. But, of course, you will never get off. Nor will I. Nor will anyone. Whatever happens to your body, nothing can happen to you.
Contrary to the prevalent feeling on Earth, the most important thing in the world is not to keep the body alive. Life of the body does not need to be held on to so tightly. Of course, no reason to look for the body to leave any more than to hang on to it. The physical body has its term of service. It lasts only a lifetime. But not you, beloveds. You are eternal. Connected to a body or disconnected from a body, you are eternal. That which is you is eternal. No matter how much you may identify with your body, your body is not you. It is very important while you dwell in it. Even so, it is incidental to you. Nourish your physical body. Keep it oiled. Honor it. Your body gives you great service. While you are physical on Earth, your body is the vehicle you run around in. You are visibly known by it. Without question, your body is a miracle. A time comes when your body finishes its service to you and the Universe. Its tour of duty is over. And then, the spirit of you, rises fully to its Source, and you continue onto a boundless adventure without your body that you became habituated to and loved so much even when you were dissatisfied with it. The world may say you lose your body. Beloveds, you leave it like an old pair of pants you step out of. You leave your body behind, and the significance of it no longer reigns. Consider that when your loved ones leave their physical bodies, they are free of it. Oh, yes, now they can fly. The body was loyal, and you treated it right. And yet it is not that you are beholden to it. Your physical form is not a keepsake. It is a simple vehicle with only a lifetime guarantee. The guarantee is limited. And no one knows how long the guarantee is good for. It is a beautiful thing to be born into a physical body. It is so much fun. You can run with it. You can walk with it. You can sit down with it. You can eat with it. You can sleep with it. Your physical body is really quite a companion. Think of it, it houses your soul! But only for a while. Only for so long. Your body is dependent upon you. You are really not dependent upon it. Beloveds, the body is not your god. Certainly, you serve your body while it serves you, and yet it is not meant to be your god. Love your body. Love what it does for you. Sit in the sun with it, but do not worship it as if you could not get along without it. The body is not supreme. You are. You can get along without your body very well. Consider your body like a wind-up watch that, at an undetermined time, will run down. Your body carries you. It does well by you. Your body really worships you. It knows it's indentured. It knows it is to serve you until it is no longer to serve you. May your body serve you well. May you serve your body well. And when it is time to part, part with a fond adieu. Your body will not mourn you. Your body believed in its own fallibility. And now you must believe in your own infallibility. You can pin medals on bodies, but not on souls. Souls have Eternity instead. Souls are not just long-lasting. They are everlasting. This is true for your soul. You have a soul, and your soul is like a garland, and it is beautiful, beloved. When will you believe Me that everything is all right? When will you believe that the sun will shine tomorrow whatever may occur? Even in the midst of war, the sun rises. The sun rises above the horizon every day, regardless of whether you are having a good day or a bad day. Of what perplexity does the sun take to heart? The sun shines, and love is, regardless of whatever else is going on. What is of the import that you give to an event? Of what consequence are all the matters that matter to you?
I know that what befalls seems like the end of the world, but the world has not ended yet nor will it. So long as there is consciousness, the world exists. Once again, with speculation on your fears, your dominance in the world is clear. Be dominant with other thoughts. If I ask you, "What need is there of war?" in a lucid moment you would say, "None." When you are drunk with anger or ego, you might say: "Of course, there is need. Did you see what the OTHERS said, what they did? We must settle this, and if with war, so be it." Imagine the foolhardiness of settling anything with war! That is like saying, "I will settle down to sleep by staying awake!" Settle matters with war? Why, that is a way to be unsettling. By what right can wars be declared? By what right can wars be fought? And yet there are even wars among families. Why not, when wars are always against something in yourself? Whatever someone wants to do, he will find reasons for it. Whatever you want, you will find reasons for. If you want to fight, you will find reasons to fight. If you want to make peace, you will find reasons to make peace. You can find reasons galore for anything you want. Is it possible you want fear? For what other reason would you have so much of it? Do you really think you can make friends with fear? I suppose if you think you make peace by wars, then you can think that fear is the way to freedom from fear. I hear you fear some kind of imminent danger. You even fear love for fear that love will be taken away. Beloveds, don't even fear being loveless. Lovelessness does not exist, so you fear nothing. All your fears are nothing. Oh, I know, what you are thinking. I know you jump to your defense of fear as if fear really does you any good. Instead of being fearful, beloved, be joyful. Look for joy around every corner. Look, the sun reaches everywhere but a dark cave. If you are in a dark cave of fear, get out. Go into the sunshine and love the sun. You can always go back into a cave if that's what you want. The darkness will be there waiting for you. If you prefer the shade, be in it. If you prefer the sunshine, be in it. Is there a hard decision to make? Choose that which you want to choose. Who needs the cold of darkness when there is the sun to give warmth? Have I given you too many things to do or not to do? Of course, all guidance I give boils down to love, so, in actually, there is only one thing I ask of you, and that is to love yourself. You cannot love others more than you love yourself. I speak of loving and not attachment, beloveds. I speak of loving yourself and not holding yourself for ransom, as it were.
If you ever feel sorry for yourself, you are not loving yourself. If you ever feel sorry for someone else, you are not loving that person. Christ had compassion but he did not commiserate. He did not feel sorry for anyone. Nor must you. Even when Christ was on the cross, he did not feel, "Oh, woe is me." He did not feel: "What a poor unfortunate am I." He did not feel sorry for himself. That would indeed be a sorry thing to do. Nor are you to feel sorry for yourself or anyone. Perhaps you might say, "But, God, with due respect, what is the matter with feeling sorry for someone?" Of course you know I do not mean, if you see a man fall down, that you would not help lift him up. Of course, you know I don't mean that you would not help someone cross the street. Of course, you know I do not mean, if you see a starving child, that you are not to give him food. You must know I don't mean that, for you must know that I mean for you to help all creatures. I have to ask you: Must pity be your only motivation to help another? If it is, don't let the ones you help know it. To feel sorry for someone is insulting really. It is a label you attach, beloveds. It is a poor sign that you place on another. And it is a poor sign if you place it on yourself. When you look at someone with pity, you are saying they are lacking and perhaps inferior. You are saying that they are not lucky, or you are saying that you are luckier. Now, of course, I may hear you saying, "But, God, that's absolutely true. It's obvious, isn't it? Some of us are luckier than others. Or some of us are lucky one time and not so lucky another. If someone is ill, he is ill." Beloveds, if it is obvious, all the more reason for you to not state the obvious to yourself or to another. Beloveds, had Christ felt pity for lepers, how could he have healed them? He would have kept them right where they were. Christ saw beyond the limitations of the world. And so must you. You know better than to label a child stupid. Is it better to label someone as ill or poor? You haven't forgotten that you create with your thoughts, have you? I will tell you another reason why you do not want to feel sorry for yourself or anyone. It immobilizes you. You make an indictment. You box yourself in. It is such an indemnifying thing you would do. When you feel sorry for yourself, you paint a poor picture of yourself, and you stay there. It is the same when you apply pity to another. Now can you imagine saying to a friend: "Oh, I pity you"? Is that not a terrible thing to feel? Nor would you say, "Oh, you poor thing!" A pity party is not a party at all. Really, you may not create every circumstance in your life, yet you do create an interpretation of every circumstance. When you spill milk, you might cry over it, or you might be one who laughs at it. In any case, you wipe it up. So why cry over it?
I realize it is not everything in life that you can be lighthearted about, yet have you not taken very seriously many occurrences that now you would not take so seriously? Are there not many events you have taken seriously for no reason but that you took them seriously? Of course, you can always justify taking anything seriously. It is your life, after all. You can choose to consider anything any way you want. Perhaps you can choose to laugh more. And when you cannot be lighthearted about it, then perhaps you can shrug your shoulders and move on. Even when you are at the gaming table, win or lose, there is the point where you get up and go home. The past, whatever it may have been to you, does not have to linger in your heart. It was a meal you ate once. In the interim, you have eaten many other meals. Better to think about the meal you are sitting down to now. Some meals may have been perfectly indigestible, or they may have been the most glorious meals in the world, yet there is a meal for you to sit down to right now. This is the meal of the hour. This bite on your plate is the one to take now. What is the merit in trying to digest that which is no longer present, except as you say so, that is? You can make the past your every thought, and yet you cannot restore it nor improve on it. All you can do is deal with what occurs right now. Do not trammel the present with the past. You have a beautiful vase of flowers, the most gorgeous bouquet ever seen in the world. Yet next week or so, the flowers will have made their adieu, and so you must say goodbye to them too. Flowers know they cannot stay the same, and they don't resist. They are not so foolhardy as you. They are not foolhardy at all. What is there about the past that means so much to you that you must hold on to it against all odds? The past cannot keep records of itself. Why do you keep its records? Why do you when there are new flowers to pick? When you serve the past, you neglect the present. You are behind the times. Better to walk where your feet are now. Why does leaving the past seem so sad to you? It may have been unbearable at the time, and yet now it is unbearable for you to leave it. There is a new tree growing in your yard. You, who say to yourself often enough, "Face facts," seem to lose sight of this fact. The past has endearing qualities to you, but it was the present once. That was when to pay attention to it. There is a present state of affairs right now that would like you to love it. It awaits your pleasure. It wants your attention now, not later. Right now, not tomorrow. Pay attention to where you are and not where you have been, or imagine you have been. Better to open a book today than to keep an old one on the shelf. Better to look in one direction than two. Better to be wide-eyed. Better to see what is right before you than what you thought was yesterday. Come with Me now. Let Us walk through the green pastures. Do not fuss. Even when circumstances seem dire, you must not fuss.
Even when you are tearing your hair out over difficulty with someone in your life, it is for you to find that which resides within that person that you can appreciate, can really appreciate and not just tokenly. When there is a great difference of opinion, you can be glad that someone else also cares as much about something as you do. You can be glad that you live in a land where two people can disagree. You can be glad that you do not think alike. You can be glad that difference of opinion exists. You can be glad that you do not force your opinion upon another. You can be as glad to be mistaken as you can be glad to be right. You can be glad you are someone who desires harmony over victory. Perhaps you can even be glad to keep silent as well as speak up when that is the thing to do. Even when you have bent over backwards for another person, and they don't see your deference, find something about them that you can appreciate anyway, if only that they are as determined as you. Consider that each person in your life, no matter how difficult, is a gift to you. It may be a gift you have had for a long or a short time. It may be a gift you do not appreciate. You may not know how to abandon the gift somewhere because, even when you do, the memory and effect of this gift linger. Of course, your thought about any situation or individual does not have to be like a bad penny that turns up. Bright shiny good pennies can turn up instead. Beloveds, I do know you have gone further than holding onto long-term grudges. Now let go of the short-term ones too. Let go of the ones that last a day, or an hour, or even two minutes. Why have them at all? Have disagreements all you want, but no resentment to follow along with them. It will all come out in the wash, beloveds. Moments happen. That is all that happens. You ride a horizontal escalator, and you see one sight after another. You are merely passing by the sights. Or perhaps it is you who is standing still, and the sights are on the escalator moving past you. This scene of life doesn't have to be something that bothers you. It doesn't have to be anything at all, but a moment, a little blip, a snap of the fingers. You can be sure whatever occurs is only a passing moment. You can discard it. You can let it go by without holding on to it. You can let it go. In any case, it is leaving you. It can only be a passing thought that you try to hold on to. There isn't anything else to hold on to. With occurrences and people in life, you don't have to relive every moment or weigh it or edit it. Live, and everything is taken care of the same way the food you eat is. You don't have to insist that your food digest. Nor do you have to insist that life take any course but the course it does take. You can get up from a meal. You don't have to stay at the table. You can get up and go sit at another table or take a walk in the park. And so it is with your thoughts. You can leave the table of your thoughts. You don't have to keep them in thrall. Your mind is a receptacle of your thoughts, but you don't have to harbor every thought. Your thoughts can move along. You don't have to say hello to them. Even when you do, you are capable of saying so long without a backward glance. ¿Acaso no han permitido ustedes que sus corazones se descorazonen tan fácilmente? Amados, mejor dejen que sus corazones se sientan reavivados. Busquen oportunidades para subir el ánimo de sus corazones. Dejen partir al desánimo; permitan que se levante el ánimo. Amados, es cuestión de que ustedes sean buenos para consigo mismos. Ustedes creen que lo que les hace sentirse frustrados y descontentos es algo que se encuentra fuera de ustedes. Es su propia auto-referencia la que hace eso; es la expectativa que ustedes ponen sobre ustedes mismos la que lo hace.
Si algo no es de la forma en la que ustedes piensan que debería ser, sienten que han fallado. Sonoramente o no, ustedes se insultan a si mismos. Ustedes deciden que tienen que luchar contra ello y que no están a la altura de las circunstancias. Ustedes se encadenan con recintos que colocan alrededor de ustedes mismos. Libérense a ustedes mismos para variar; libérense de la frustración, amados. Rescátense a ustedes mismos de estas pequeñas insignificantes molestias. Ustedes se hacen a ustedes mismos infelices por pequeñas cosas. En primer lugar, por la idea de que cada cosa debe de ser de una determinada manera. En segundo lugar, si no lo es, deben de batallar con ello; es preferible sentir gozo por algo. Regocíjense, por que Nosotros tenemos la Unicidad del Yo, a la que nos referimos como nuestra mutua reciprocidad. Nosotros somos uno del otro. Alégrense de que Todos somos Uno. ¿Qué puede enredarles a ustedes cuando Nosotros somos Suprema Unicidad? ¿Qué Otredad debe entorpecer la Unicidad? ¿Qué permitirían ustedes que interfiriese entre Nosotros? ¿Qué implantarían entre Nosotros? No existe nada que necesite obstaculizar la labor de Nuestro Corazón Uno. ¿Dejarían que se interpusiera la luz roja de un semáforo entre Nosotros? ¿Permitirían que una singularidad de sus computadoras interfiriese entre Nosotros?; ¿Un perro ladrando en la calle?, ¿Un golpe en un dedo del pié? ¿Qué podría quizás ser merecedor de interferir con Nuestro amor? ¿En qué consiste esta pequeña algarabía? Dejen de lado estos pequeños asuntos, y vuelvan a la Unicidad que Somos; entren en este valle de amor Conmigo, es un refugio, es un lugar seguro donde no tienen cabida la distracción ni el despecho. En este valle de Nuestro corazón, la molestia no tiene lugar; es muy pequeña en tamaño. En este valle de nuestro corazón, Estamos enfrascados en amor. ¿Hay alguna otra cosa en la que preferirían ustedes estar ocupados? ¿Alguna bobada quizás? ¿Acaso no han tenido ya suficiente de todo ello? ¿Acaso no han pasado años ahondando en lo que Hiere sus corazones? ¿No están ya hartos de ponerse a si mismos a un lado, y elegir relegarse a ustedes mismos a la insatisfacción de uno u otro tipo? ¿Acaso no se han vuelto especialistas en ello? ¿No son acaso expertos en todo ello? De ahora en adelante, destitúyanse a ustedes mismos. A estas alturas, permítanse volverse insatisfechos con viejas maneras de pensar, lo que es casi como darse a ustedes mismos una paliza; en eso consiste la frustración, amados, algún tipo de auto-tormento. Libérense a si mismos ahora. Abandonen la frustración; ella nunca fue su amiga ¿Porqué están en deuda con ella? Siéntense en deuda con la alegría en su lugar; aumenten la alegría para mantenerla bajo estrecha vigilancia, en vez de hacerlo con la molesta frustración. Amados, existe un Pabellón del Esplendor al que ustedes pueden apuntarse, inscríbanse en él ahora; Yo les invito, Yo les tomo de la mano, Yo les dirijo hacia las aguas tranquilas. De la belleza surge belleza; del amor se origina amor. De la confusión, viene confusión. ¿No es esto obvió? Por esta razón, ustedes querrán proceder con positividad tanto como puedan, y abandonar la negatividad. La negatividad puede forjarse a sí misma muy bien sin ayuda alguna por su parte.
Ustedes podrían alegar que siempre pretenden ser honestos y francos; por consiguiente, ustedes francamente, otorgan un lugar de honor a la negatividad. Ustedes la colocan bien erguida en su regazo y la escuchan con atención; lo repiten como un tributo. Repitan positividad en vez de negatividad. Permitan que la positividad tenga voz y voto. Escuchen a la positividad para que lo positivo pueda llevar el papel principal en sus vidas, y entonces, revolucionar al mundo. Si quieren que les crezcan orquídeas, ustedes plantan orquídeas. Si fuesen a un establecimiento para comprar plantas, ustedes se asegurarían de traer a casa lo que quieren, y no cardos. Nunca saldrían a su jardín y plantarían malas hierbas. Y sin embargo, cuando se trata de sus vidas, la vida de un Hijo de Dios, ustedes lo cubren y recubren todo con césped de negatividad; todas esas malas hiervas que se encuentran en sus mentes. Se aseguran de que la negatividad es celebrada y apoyada, y de que no se extinguirá. Y ustedes, amados, por favor; perdónenme por decirles que, en esos momentos, ustedes se sienten orgullosos de su logro. No han permitido que una sola partícula de negatividad quedase velada. Ustedes se sienten orgullosos de estar bien repletos de toda la negatividad que ha sido exteriorizada en el mundo hoy. Lo primero que hacen en la mañana, es correr a leer el periódico; o Yahoo, para encontrar qué caos se está desencadenando, qué escandalosos acontecimientos se están transmitiendo. Incluso quieren ser los primeros en estar al corriente, como si la vida dependiese de lo inteligentes que sean ustedes al saber tantas noticias. Ustedes digieren las penas que han ido llegando de cerca y de lejos. Las noticias se convierten en su culebrón del día y en lo que ustedes transmiten en su faceta de informadores. ¿Que pasaría si no se hubiesen enterado de las devastadoras noticias impresas hoy? Que ocurriría en sus vidas si no supieran qué es lo que estaba destrozando el corazón del mundo? Es como si se sintiesen obligados a añadir su voz al coro repetitivo de una tragedia Griega. Silben alguna otra melodía, amados. Observen, el sol está brillando; el café se está preparando. La cama puede que esté está hecha, o no; y ustedes se están despertando a un gran obsequio del universo. Escuchen, aquí tienen un bello día a su disposición; llévenselo puesto como un nuevo abrigo de muchos colores, y tiren el que ya está viejo y oscuro. Sean compasivos con este esplendoroso día, y denle una oportunidad para que sea todo lo que yo anhelo. Las noticias son el chisme del día. Ustedes tienen derecho a ser el sol y no la nube que cubre los rayos del sol. No piensen que es su responsabilidad ir por ahí soltando noticias; es responsabilidad suya hacer que brille su luz. ¿Cómo pueden hacer eso cuando ustedes se sienten cargados con las historias trágicas del mundo? Ustedes no suben el ánimo del mundo favoreciendo e instigando sus conflictos; lo que ocurre al escuchar malas noticias, es que ustedes toman partido, favoreciendo una parte u otra. El mundo se convierte en algo así como una clásica película de vaqueros, con los chicos buenos y los chicos malos; y evidentemente, ustedes están del lado de los buenos. Si quieren paz, y yo creo que es así, entonces ustedes no serán un sheriff que apunta el dedo a los chicos malos ya más, e intenta cercarles como al ganado; no, ustedes abrirán sus corazones al mundo, y bajarán sus armas. Ustedes tirarán sus municiones y se darán las manos, se parecerán más a Mí, y tendrán compasión por todos; no existirán bandos distintos. Ustedes están viajando por mar y por tierra; también viajan por el aire. Hay viajes a la Luna y viajes a Marte; habrá viajes a cada sitio conocido, y después, habrá aún más planetas que se harán conocidos. Ustedes son viajeros en espacio y tiempo; se encuentran ahora en un planeta. Los viajes espaciales no son novedad para ustedes.
También existe la exploración mental. Entiendan que todo viaje concierne a la mente; es la mente quien toma nota de ello. La mente se explora a sí misma. Todo lo externo queda registrado por la mente. Sus mentes quieren explorarlo todo y conocerlo todo. Sus mentes están aprendiendo a proporcionar a sus corazones todas las bendiciones del Universo. Es como si la mente se aventurase en busca de alimento, y el corazón lo consumiese. Ustedes aman el descubrimiento. Podrían indicar que no son partidarios del misterio; pero les encanta viajar a lugares desconocidos y explorar sus terrenos. Ustedes adoran encontrar algo que no conocían antes, les encanta utilizar sus sentidos; ¿para qué otra cosa pensaron ustedes que estaban ahí, sino para exploraciones? Sus sentidos son sensores que lo captan todo; entonces, sus mentes les dan a ellos un cierto sentido. Y después, sus mentes y sus sentidos continúan explorando más. ¿Existe alguna receta deliciosa que no quieran probar? Hay alguna perspectiva desde la cual no quieran mirar? ¿Hay alguna montaña que no quieran escalar; incluso solamente de pensamiento? ¿Existe algún mar en el que no quieran penetrar; comparar con otros mares, y escoger el preferido? ¿Qué estancias han rechazado franquear? ¿Qué armario, o cajón no han deseado abrir? Lo que se presenta ante ustedes, quieren verlo; quieren escudriñar sus adentros, y luego seguir adelante hacia nuevos descubrimientos. Ustedes son exploradores en la Tierra; cada nuevo día entran en territorio desconocido, incluso aunque hayan vivido en el mismo lugar todas sus vidas no saben lo que va a ocurrir hoy. Viajan de lo conocido a lo desconocido, para descubrir lo que aún no ha sido descubierto. Pueden haber recorrido el Missisipi cada día de sus vidas, y cada vez, hay una aventura esperándoles. Pueden haber caminado por la misma calle cada día; y sin embargo, cada día que pasa no es igual que el anterior. Depende en gran parte de la hora del día, y de los hechos y personas que se encuentran allí. Puede haber “break dance”, o una marcha solemne; existe la posibilidad de una gran variedad de cosas. Amados, ustedes podrían estar en un fuerte con un espesor de 10 pies, y aun así ustedes permanecen abiertos a lo que pueda venirles. Una casa perfectamente puesta, exquisita en color y diseño, no les mantiene alejados de la vida. La vida asume el control en todas partes, la vida tiene mucho que decir, y lo dice espontáneamente; se ofrece a sí misma a ustedes, tal y como es. No hay ningún libro y ningún mapa que les diga que va a ocurrir hoy. Su día está ahí para tomarlo, no está parado, no se quedará quieto sentado; será él mismo, hoy, a pesar de lo que ustedes piensen de él. Y así y todo, ustedes conseguirán a hacer algo de él también. No existe coraza alguna que les proteja de la vida, amados, ni tampoco debería haberla. La vida está activa, la vida aflora; no se estanca. Los días se despliegan y ustedes se expanden con ellos. Ustedes no han dejado de crecer; ustedes están, de hecho, acabando de empezar. El inicio de sus vidas recae sobre ustedes. Ustedes están listos para empezar el juego, amárrense las botas, y súbanse al caballo que les toque montar hoy; tienen una buena jornada por delante. El amor del que Yo hablo, no es una emoción; no, de acuerdo a como ustedes entienden las emociones. No tiene altibajos, no les hace estar fuera de sí; simplemente, está ahí. Podríamos denominar el amor como una conciencia; algo así como lo que ocurre cuando ustedes son conscientes de lo bien que huele el aire después de la lluvia matinal.
Se trata de conciencia; y sin embargo, no exactamente conciencia de conciencia, ya que la conciencia no es un objeto. La conciencia de un objeto es un pensamiento. No hay nada malo en tener pensamientos, y en que estos sean de amor; sin embargo, el pensamiento de amor no tiene el mismo resplandor. Así mismo, ustedes pueden decir que Dios es un pensamiento, no obstante un pensamiento a cerca de Mí, no le hace justicia Todo Lo Que Yo Soy; sin embargo, sí existe un aspecto de Dios que es un pensamiento. Cuando se encuentran con un bello poema de amor, él evoca algo en ustedes; lo que invoca es más de lo que dice el poema. Hay algo en las palabras que despierta algo en ustedes. Sin embargo, el amor no necesita palabras; existe sin palabras. Un poema, como ocurre con las “Cartas del Cielo” (“Heavenletters”), puede conmover únicamente, a aquello que ya forma parte de ustedes. Podríamos decir que el amor es algo que es avivado en ustedes, volviendo a ser despertado. El amor baja rodando por su propia colina. En última instancia debe ocurrir, que el amor descubra su propia existencia en su radiante esplendor. Y sin embargo, el amor es él mismo antes de percibirse como tal. El amor latente se convierte en amor vivo. Amor que se adora a sí mismo, amor que se sienta, que se acicala a sí mismo, amor alentando en las gradas, el amor que se enciende, exuberante, riéndose, el amor dándose cuenta de ser Todo Lo Que Hay; disfrutando, derribando puertas, el amor inundando el universo, superándose a si mismo, sorprendiéndose, encontrándose consigo mismo, jugando al escondite consigo mismo, jugando al corre que te pillo, alcanzándose a si mismo, topándose consigo mismo, precipitándose alocadamente sobre si mismo, venciéndose a si mismo, rompiéndose sobre sí mismo como una ola en el océano, escurriéndose de ella hasta llegar a la orilla, rellenando cada grieta, dejando nada vacío, y sin embargo, lleno de solamente él mismo. Amor que sale disparado en el aire como fuegos artificiales, el amor haciéndose cargo de las multitudes; acorralando corazones, apareciendo por tas partes frente a sí mismo. El mundo se ha convertido en un espejo de amor, un laberinto de amor del que no hay salida, un baile de amor, una montaña de amor demoliéndose a si misma y alcanzándose a si misma a lo largo y ancho del mundo, disolviendo ejércitos, y reclutando amantes; un cúmulo de amor, un crisol de amor, un relato de amor interminable. Amor, siempre amor, siempre él mismo; y sin embargo, siempre nuevo, amor que acaba de establecerse, amor que es un murmullo de Mí. ¿Es Mi voz amor? Ciertamente es Mi canción; sin duda alguna, es la melodía que Yo tarareo. ¿Como pueden los corazones contener tanto amor? ¿Como puede el amor llenar tanto y sin embargo desearse a si mismo en cada momento? Por todo ello, el amor ha de ser conocido, ha de conocerse a sí mismo; ha de saber de donde procede, y a donde se dirige, incluso aunque esté circulando por todas partes. Por supuesto, el amor emanó de Mí; y sin embargo, el amor existía ya antes de la creación. Podemos decir que el amor fué el impulso de la creación, y esta aún palpitando. El amor puede ser un misterio, pero no es oscuro. Los niños pequeños conocen que es el amor; no existe ni una ramita en el universo sin amor. Una manzana en un árbol crece rápidamente en amor, expandiéndose; y ustedes comen amor, le dan un mordisco, lo digieren, y la manzana les da las gracias. La manzana por naturaleza también les ama. La manzana puede ser comida, pero su esencia de manzana permanece; y lo mismo ocurre con el amor. De hecho, cuanto más se gasta amor, más abundancia hay de él. El amor suelta sus propias semillas por su boca, por así decirlo. Por consiguiente, el amor se renueva a si mismo y vuela libremente. El amor es abundante; y sin embargo, se regocija consigo mismo. ¿Y ustedes, amados? ¿Qué opinan ustedes? Buenos días, amados. Hoy se despiertan a un nuevo día lleno de posibilidades que puede que no las hayan visto como posibilidades. En el día de hoy verán la posibilidad de los nuevos horizontes. Hoy verán los comienzos de una era con la que difícilmente habían soñado. Ya no le van a temer a la desilusión, porque los días de la gloria en la Tierra están a mano. La realización de Nuestro sueño es inminente. Verán la bondad transitando por la Tierra. Verán flores que florecen en invierno. Verán baile sobre el pasto. Se conocerá la alegría. Sea lo que sea que hayan deseado para el mundo está listo para aparecer. Estén listos para ello. ¿Qué es lo que tienen que hacer para estar listos?
Anticípense a su llegada. Con sus pensamientos, ustedes lo han ordenado. Ahora, con sus pensamientos, hagan lugar para ello. Es con su corazón y con sus ojos que le hacen lugar. Vean cómo será el mundo cuando este tiempo de gloria llega. Su corazón puede comenzar a bailar ahora. Los árboles se alinearán con su felicidad. El sol se levantará temprano. La luna estará llena cada noche. Sus sueños para el universo estarán rodando con regocijo, sus sueños personales también. Sus sueños para el universo toman precedencia. A medida que caen en su lugar, sus sueños se incrementan. Sin embargo cuando todo el mundo es feliz, sus sueños personales pierden su importancia, porque en un mundo de alegría, ustedes están colmados. Es suficiente el estar vivos. Puede ser que no necesiten de los eventos que pensaban que iban a necesitar. Incluso los pueden olvidar. Como un evento natural, ustedes estarán colmados. Habrá una falta de carencia. Finalmente conocerán la plenitud de su corazón y que todo está contenido en el mismo. No faltará nada. No habrá el pensamiento de que algo falta. Cuando su corazón está completo como la luna, ¿qué es lo que puede estar faltando? Ustedes llegarán a recordar la falta, si es que recuerdan para algo, como a un amante errante que ya no está ahí para ustedes, porque la falta se habrá esfumado en la puesta del sol, habrá bajado junto con el sol, y nunca volverá a surgir. Se fue. Para todos los intentos y propósitos, la falta nunca existió salvo como un pensamiento obsesivo en una mente agitada. Cuando la idea de la falta se ha ido, la inquietud habrá volado. Su mente estará apacible. Ustedes estarán llenos de paz. Estarán rebalsando de paz. ¿Vendrá primero el amor o la paz? Cada uno será lo otro. Ustedes ya no perderán el tiempo con el fantasma de causa y efecto. Ustedes disfrutarán demasiado. La causa de la alegría será la alegría. La causa del amor será amor. La causa de ustedes serán ustedes. La causa se originará de sí misma. Yo seré conocido como la Causa, porque seré conocido. Yo estaré enmasillado a través de cada corazón. Qué éxtasis de amor habrá pulsando a través de la cara de la Tierra. Estamos hablando acerca de una revolución en donde el amor baila consigo mismo. La pareja de cada uno será el amor. No habrá nadie que no tenga pareja. El amor advendrá en todos lados para cada uno. Nadie se imaginará que no lo tiene. No habrá pausa en el amor. El amor ocupará el lugar que le corresponde por derecho. Va a dominar a la Tierra. El amor solo dominará con amor, así que accederá con amor. Ustedes se habrán derretido en amor, y ustedes conocerán a su hermano como a sí mismos, y se amarán a si mismos como aún no lo han hecho. El amor será el factor vital. Será la estrella. Finalmente llegará a los encabezados. No habrá otra cosa que llegue a los mismos, porque todo lo que habrá será amor apilado sobre amor, el amor para que todo el mundo lo vea, el amor para ser dado por todo el mundo. ¿Comienzas a sentir la emoción? La llamaré emoción. Es la emoción de un día de primavera. Es esa energía del Universo que navega directo a tu corazón. Es la energía de las estrellas, y es la energía de los sueños manifestados. Es la energía del amor, amado. Esta energía te está envolviendo. Lo único que tienes que hacer es estar a merced de este gran amor que se filtra.
Esta energía no es nueva. Es sólo que con frecuencia has estado al acecho de algo más. Peligro, quizás. Lo que alguien piensa de vos, quizás. Lo que tú piensas de otro. El problemas estaba en tu mente. Sentimientos heridos. Ventajas ligeras. La lista de todas las otras cosas en que piensas es larga, mientras que en lo único que vale la pena que ocupes tu mente es en esta energía simple del amor, la savia misma de la vida. Hay señales de advertencia en todo el mundo. Estas señales han tenido un efecto grave en ti. Ahora debes pasar por alto estas señales y considerar al amor en su lugar. Quizás dices que el problema no es importante. Estoy de acuerdo contigo, pero ¿por qué pasarías un minuto mirándolo cuando hay tantas cosas maravillosas que mirar? Puedes apreciar al Universo completo, y puedes mirar un microcosmo y encontrar en él una belleza y una alegría inexplicables. Afuera hay un mundo, amado, y es tuyo. Es tu patio de juegos. Es tu jardín. Es tuyo. Para que lo tengas en tu corazón. Existe para que lo hagas tuyo, para que lo ames como tuyo y de todos los demás. Debes hacer que tu amor flote por todos lados. Por supuesto, no es necesario que tengas un objeto para tu amor. Puedes flotar en tu amor a pesar de lo que está ocurriendo en el mundo, ya sea que las flores están en flor o desorientadas. Ciertamente, puedes ser feliz puesto que toda la felicidad reside en ti. No tienes que citar al mundo para ser feliz. At the same time as I tell you to enjoy the spectacle of the world, to even be dazzled and overwhelmed by its beauty, at the same time I tell you not to be dazzled, not to be overwhelmed, for this is how magnificent the world is meant to be. Love the stars. They are dazzling. Love them and uphold them and declare their beauty. Honor the stars. Honor all the beauty of the Universe, for it is yours. The beauty is so much yours that you do not have to be attached to it.
What I am trying to say is that if there is a cloudy night and the stars are not seen, you do not have to despair. Love dearly, and not have to have what you love in view. Whether you see the stars or not, they are there. They have not gone away. You are not dependent upon seeing them. In any case, they see you, for they see a reflection of themselves in you. The stars shine their light on you regardless of clouds or smog. Stars are. Beauty is. And they are reflected in you. There is nothing you have to cling to, beloveds. Not even to life itself. There is nothing you have to have because you have it all. Never mind the shiny new car you don't have. Never mind the presence nor lack of the obvious. Widen your perception to include the glories of the world and Heaven whether you see them right in front of you or not. When you are a good friend, you love your friend in sun and rain. Your love for your friend does not have to be dependent upon his being all you want him to be at a particular moment. You don't dismiss your friend from your heart because he is not sparkling every moment. Nor do you need to begrudge the world when the world is not the perfect soul mate you have desired. When the world does not present its perfect profile to you, can you not love it the same? For what reason would you despair of the world and your life in it? For what reason would you throw the world to the dogs, as it were? You live in a house. The house is not always perfect in your eyes. Sometimes the roof leaks or a window rattles and stairs creak. You do not pick on your house because it isn't perfect. You may spruce it up instead. The world is your home, and it deserves more appreciation from you. Please stop pointing out the world's defects to yourself or to anyone. Never mind its wrinkles. Multiply the love in the world instead. Pat the world on its head and love it. Make the world the love of your life. Let your life be love. If you want the world to be different, if you want your life to be different, then give it credence. When you see life as you like it, let it know what you like. In the light of your appreciation, the world will blossom. You will blossom. Deserts will blossom. Oases will spring up.
