Por favor entiende que no ser egoísta no significa que te tengas que dejar de lado. No quiere decir que decidas que todo el mundo va antes que tú, y que tengas que ser el último de la lista. Cristo no renunció a su paz y felicidad por servirMe. No dejó de lado sus necesidades. No se a autoborró. Por la noche iba a dormir, y comía. Descansaba. No se sobrecargaba de trabajo. Nunca pensó que se tenía que entregar. Simplemente actuaba en su estado de conciencia. Disfrutó su vida. Disfrutó de la gente con quien se encontraba. Disfrutó de su propio servicio. Sirvió, no para demostrarse nada a sí mismo o a alguien más, sino simplemente por servir. Partía de una posición muy alta. No condescendió a ninguna criatura, incluido él mismo. No vio a nadie inferior a él, y así no se vio en un estado en el que le pareciese que se estaba sacrificando. No se vio como necesario para los otros. Sólo sabía lo que tenía que hacer por Mí, y así lo hacía, porque servirMe a Mí no quería decir sacrificarse a sí mismo más de lo que fuese soportable.

Que sirvas no quiere decir que te hayas de sacrificar. Aléjate de la idea de que el sacrificio es bueno. Un día llegarás al estado de conciencia dónde lo darás todo sin pensamientos de sacrificio. Darás porque será lo que te corresponde, y es natural para ti. Es lo que quieres hacer, no para sentirte bien, ni por gloria, simplemente porque es lo que tienes que hacer.

Amados, cuando dais más allá de lo que corresponde a vuestra conciencia, empezáis a lamentaros y a ofenderos. No favorecéis cuando convertís a alguien en el receptor de vuestra queja y de vuestro resentimiento.

Cristo no se sacrificó. Se dio completamente, pero no era tonto. No se dijo a sí mismo lo que supuestamente tenía que ser, o hacer, o sentir. No había separación entre su pensamiento y su acto. No se entrenó a sí mismo para ser un dador, ni sentía que poseía su capacidad de dar. Simplemente dio lo que tenía que dar. Los ojos mortales ven que dio mucho. Cristo no lo sabía. Dio lo que tenía que dar. Simplemente hizo lo siguiente:

Cristo era bueno dejando ir. Desde su percepción, no había nada que él poseyera, y no había nada que necesitara. Por lo tanto dio, y por lo tanto me sirvió a Mí en su mundo. Me sirvió con gracia, y así, sirvió a la humanidad con gracia. Puede ser muy dramático llevar a cabo un acto de sacrificio, pero ¿crees que es elegante?

Cristo no hizo todo lo que el mundo le pidió. No se humilló. Servía pero no era un esclavo. Era humilde, pero no aspiraba a serlo. Lavó los pies de otros como a sus iguales. Nada era ostentoso en él. No decidió ser humilde. No decidió ser nada en absoluto. Recorrió el mundo haciendo lo que tenía que hacer.

Puedes decir que sacrificó su vida física. Él lo veía diferente. Él no veía que fuera su vida lo que daba, ni que alguien se la tomara. Vio su existencia mundana correctamente como Mía, como Mía para dar y como Mía para tomar. Vio su cuerpo como lo que era. No tuvo que morir para conocer la Vida Eterna. Cristo sabía quien era, y sabía que nunca se le podría tomar su ser. Lo amas precisamente porque no se sacrificó. Dio libremente, y no te obligó, y así ahora tu corazón amará complacer el suyo.

Boundlessness is Our natural state. We, you and I, long for boundlessness. Of course, I don’t long for it, for I am That. Yet so contrary is life on Earth, that you who are made of beautiful boundlessness, must set boundaries. Not only do you come up against boundaries in life that you don’t want, you also sometimes have to set boundaries you don’t want. What a contradiction Human life is. Boundlessness is your aim, and yet you must set boundaries. There are lines you cannot go over, and there are lines you must set where no one else may tread. You do not want to be quick to take offense, and yet you do not let someone walk all over you.

You cannot solve every situation on Earth. You cannot always prevent. As much as you and I desire peace, good will, all kinds of harmony, sometimes it is necessary for you to walk away, not in anger, not in distress, but simply walk away. In the finiteness of the moment, you know when it is time to leave. The party is over. Rather than embrace a brawl, you simply walk away. You do not have to stay in an untowardly situation to the bitter end.

No one likes to break off past associations, and yet who wants to continue in disharmony? You gave a relationship your best, and now it is at an end. You do not have to wait until it ends itself, or someone else ends it. Sometimes you end it. I am all for peace but not for weak pretense.

You are facing your feelings, and you are facing that, despite all good intentions, something isn’t working in anyone’s favor. The price you pay for continuance is too costly. There is a line beyond which you will not go. Not in stubbornness, but in honesty.

Start from the premise of good will, and yet, when a situation is false, acknowledge it to yourself.

Some associations end without your even being aware until you realize you and your friend haven’t spoken in a long time. Sometimes you consciously close a door beyond which you will not go. It is no favor to you or another to pretend an alliance that no longer exists. The alliance dissolved itself. Alliance had perhaps become unarmed conflict, and now you say, “Adieu.”

Absolutely seek harmony, and, at the same time, acknowledge where you are at in terms of Human life. You will not waste energy any longer. You will not pretend that an association is not over. You had a desire for a long and fruitful relationship, but when the fruit has dried in the kitchen, you do not pretend it is still hanging on the tree.

And so you acknowledge what already is and do not disallow what is already apparent. The day is over.

Sometimes an employer has to let someone go, not in anger, but in recognition that to continue is no favor . You want to be benevolent, but when a situation is at an end, it is benevolent for you to recognize the closure and that it is benevolent of you to establish it. To be kind does not mean to tolerate that which no longer serves. There are honest goodbyes. There are times when you have to get up and say, “Enough.”

I think today I will just smile at you and enjoy My lovely creation. Today you and I – We will just amble wherever We amble. There is nothing We have to accomplish today. All We have to do is to be, and to be in each other’s company. We hold hands and take a stroll today. It matters not where. We have no business to take care of, no lessons to learn. We have nothing to do but point out the sights. We can ooh and aah.

There is nothing that is urgent. There is nothing that can’t wait until tomorrow. Today, there is no pressure. Today, procrastination cannot exist. All We have to do is to enjoy. It’s not that We HAVE to enjoy. If We think We have to, already the joy is less. So there is nothing We have to do today. We have no To-Do list, no shopping list, nothing We have to remember today and nothing We have to forget. Today will simply be the day it wants to be, no shackles, no boundaries, a day in the open air, the sun on Our back.

We don’t have to play, and We don’t have to work. It is possible that the less We strive, the more that is accomplished. Today, in any case, we take away all effort, all striving, and intensity, all rushing. Our mind-set removes all worry, tension, fretting. Where can these enter when We are sitting under an umbrella at the beach? Or perhaps We are sitting on a branch of a magnolia tree, swinging our legs.

Today We laze in the sun.

Today We sip cool lemonade or hot chocolate, whatever We prefer. It is not even that we have to prefer. We don’t mind what the day serves. It’s all okay.

Today We seek no diversions, nor do We run away from them.

Today We can be like children and play in the sandbox or in the mud or in the pool. We don’t care which. It makes no difference to Us, for whatever We do today, We do together.

Together on this day, time does not exist. We have no consciousness of it. We are not even conscious of timelessness. We are out of time and in a lazy bliss today. We are aware of joy, and that is about it. No promises for today, no expectations, no explanations. The day will speak for itself. This is a day that will go down in history because it is a day for joy only. No determinants were decided on. No menu planned in advance.

Today We eat when We feel like it. No schedule to adhere to. Hurray, today school is out. There are no jobs to go to. We sit on the swing in the backyard. We don’t even have to swing. We can swing if We like, and We can just sit if We like, for today is a day off from anything that weighs our days down. We have taken a day off today.

A day like today may become like a pattern. Let every day be like this. We will get done what is necessary to get done, but what, beloveds, what really has to be done? Let Us enjoy at work and play. Let Us enjoy as if there is nothing more important to do.

Enjoy this day off with Me, beloveds, and then you will be rested for tomorrow, and enjoy tomorrow too. No longer will there be days of effort and stress and strain. What possible use for them can there seriously be? What cannot wait, or what cannot be done as We skip along singing a Day Song, happy for its unfolding. It opens itself to Us as a rose opens itself. We will be in full bloom today. We will be like the full moon, silent, content, not doing much but being there in the sky, only We will be silent and content not doing much, just being on Earth.

When you hear Me so faintly saying to do something or not to do something, or to stay or to leave, will you kindly give some credence to the message you hear even if so faintly? Will you let not the moment pass? There is something in it for you. Be assured this is not to incur fear in you, not at all. Nothing is at stake except you didn’t strike when the iron was hot. Life is so full of its blessings for you, a million more messages will come again. Opportunity is always knocking, beloveds. And, yet, there is not one you want to miss.

Sometimes you hear a faint whisper, and you don’t listen to it. You listen to your convenience first, or to your laziness, or because who knows why. You don’t even know why. Have no regrets, beloved, and, yet, next time you hear that whisper, get up, find it, and do accordingly. The whisper tells you of a blessing for yourself or a blessing for another. Get up, beloveds, right away and shower yourself with golden leaves of My love.

I am always talking to you, and you don’t even hear. And sometimes, even when you hear, you don’t listen. It is like this in the way of the world.

It is such a little thing, beloved, to follow My Will. My Will is not a lightning bolt. It is a little flash like a firefly. Sometimes you’re not even sure you saw a firefly until it lights up again and again.

And so it is with the flashes of messages I send to you on the wireless of the Universe. Dit dot dit dit move My fingers on the keyboard, so softly, so delicately, sometimes almost imperceptibly. It is very rare that I would speak in a loud tone. Mostly I speak in whisper, even unwhispered whisper. Mostly I speak in a very quiet voice that you have to lean toward in order to hear. Well worth it, to listen for My Voice. I whisper so quietly sometimes it comes to you only as a nudge, just the quietest of pokes in your ribs, even just an itch, an inkling almost unsounded, so quick you can miss it.

Of course, you don’t want to miss any message of Mine. You don’t want any blessing to slip between your fingers. Dear ones, there is the sense in which you can skip the messages. Even unheard, they have imperceptibly entered your heart and don’t leave easily. Yet favor listening.

I am not sensitive about your reception of Me. I just keep pressing the keys of the wireless, knowing that soon, you will pick up. Soon you will begin to hear the sweet music of My call to you. “Hello, beloved,” I say. “Do you hear Me? Do you like hearing Me? Will you let me know you hear Me? Will you send Me a message back? Will you kindly get up and do that which I ask you to, for I give you messages to deliver. May I count on you? Will you express My every thought through you? Will you speak for Me even when you don’t exactly hear? Will you follow My Will even when you don’t hear or see or know what My Will is? Will you simply follow Me, your heart of love? Will you be wedded to My thought and My love? Will you be Mine and give Me to all the world so that all may follow My joy as well?”

With all the love in My heart, I love you. That is My life. That is My story. Of course, it is not a story. I leave the stories to you. My love is the theme. Love is what I am here for, and this is true for you as well.

There is nothing else for Me to be here for. My love keeps the seasons going. My love is My very existence, and it is yours as well.

My love is the sun and the rain, and My love is you.

You are the love of My life. My love burst into more love, and so you were born on wings of love to Earth. Earth was a landing place. A landing place for an interval, and that interval you call your life. It’s just a temporary stop, beloveds.

If you were an airplane, you would land, and then you would lift off. Your life is like that. Airplanes fly in, and airplanes fly out. Airplanes deplane. Airplanes take off. On land or in air, an airplane is an airplane.

Whether on Earth or in Heaven, an angel is an angel. Oh, if only you would believe in your angelhood, how magnificent would your sojourn on Earth be. You would live up to your image. You would never let yourself down by a parody of yourself. You would sing a different note. You would sing a different song. You would indeed sing. You would sing the glory of life and thank Me for it, as I do thank you for living your life at Our concurrence.

I understand how you don’t really know what life is, and what yours is, what life is about, and what it is meant to be, and you don’t know how to resolve the discordance between your true life and the one you seem to be moored in. What is your life but a stroll We take together, beloveds? And yet you are so distracted by the scenery, you spend much of this short span of life forgetting that I accompany you. You forget Me, and you forget you. It is not really that you lose your way. You forget your way.

You spend so much time remembering past activities that you forget your Infinite Past, which is the same as your Infinite Present and our engagement in an enterprise so vast that you do not always see its Vastness and Wonderment. Your shoes are as if glued to Earth, and you amazingly think that you live in your shoes when you really live in your heart with Me. In your heart,

We sit in a swing, and We swing and We watch the sun rise, and We watch the sun set. We take joy in both, and yet our joy is not dependent upon either one. Our love is dependent upon nothing. Our love always was. It always is, will be. There is nothing for life to lack because, of love itself, there is no lack.

I concede there is perceived lack of love, but perception isn’t all that it is often held up to be. Perception is a leaf in the wind. Our love is the wind itself. Our love is what makes the wind to blow. We are It, beloveds. Our Oneness is the story complete. From beginning to end, We are One. There is no beginning nor end to Our Oneness. Our Oneness is neither near nor far. Oneness is Everythingness. What an existence We are. What love We give, and what love We tell. We are like an army of love. The arms we bear are love. We march to love. We love.

Beloveds, because someone has great powers, does not mean that they are more connected to Me than someone without great powers. Powers do not mean that someone with them is more connected to Me than you. You are as connected to Me as anyone can be. You are not lacking. It is good to remember this so you are not enveloped under the spell of other mortals who may have observable powers. I adjure you to remember that I walk with you, and you walk with Me. I make you important. You do not need the attention of another, no matter how powerful their attention may be. You do not need their approval. You do not need their glamour. You don’t need them. They may need you and your looking up to them.

Powers are not the indication you may have thought. The marvelous thing about Christ was not that he could turn water into wine. The marvelous thing about Christ was the simple love he poured out, not the wine. Wine is wine, gone in a moment. Christ’s love is My love, and it lasts forever.

There are people with certain powers and talents who may be very sincere. They are not trying to delude you. Only they are not aware of the extent of their individual egos and its dominance in their lives. They do not mean to mislead. They themselves are misled. They do not mean to dupe you. They themselves are duped.

And then there are also those who are aware of their self-interest. Their intent is not pure. From the outside, they may appear sincere and dedicated, but they are dedicated to themselves and their aggrandizement. They are in love with their own powers.

Regardless of intent, the result is the same. In practicality, it makes no difference if you give yourself over to the one who is sincere or the one who is self-serving. You are not to give yourself over. You are not to give anyone the added power of power over you. Keep your own self-power, beloveds. Let not your mind become indentured to another’s mind.

I will compare this to your buying a product. You see something advertised on TV. It is advertised so well, looks so promising, that you start to believe you have to have it. And so you buy the cosmetic or the gadget or the dress because of what you believe the purchase of it will do for you. When what you ordered arrives, your fascination may already be diminished. In any case, sooner or later, what you bought is no longer the wonder you thought it would be. You begin to see it now as mere make-up, mere gadget, mere dress. It is not the answer to all that you were seeking.

And sometimes you do this with people, with programs of study etc. You look for something to be the answer to your life, and you have been disappointed. Beloveds, no matter how sincere you are, you are also looking to be aggrandized.

Will you kindly remind yourselves that you have Me, and you have Truth, and you need no mortal being to puff you up?

You possess all the Greatness in the world, beloved. You are made of it. Learn all you want to learn, but keep yourself intact. Honor the Greatness within you. This is another way of saying, Do not give too much of yourself away. Know who you are, Take care in what you spend your money on, and take care of what your heart kneels down to.

How can you say that Christ died when he lives still? The passing body died, no more. And the body is such a temporary thing, serving its purpose for a while, and then dropping away in order that the soul may fly free. Thus the servant body makes way for greater freedom and Immortality. The body no longer cramps your style.

Christ did not die. He walks the world still, and he is as he ever was. He has not stopped speaking. He has not stopped healing. He may have healed you today for all you know.

Do not think that Christ is far away from you, not in time, and not in Being. Christ said it himself – all he is, you are. He even said you can do better. And what does that mean? It means your love can be more far-reaching. You may even create peace, perhaps not at the boardroom table, but in your heart. The unspoken is mightier that the spoken. There does not have to be discussion before peace. Actually, peace comes first. Then peace can be discussed. Peace can be discussed only when there is peace.

Rain falls before you put up your umbrella. Peace alights first, and then the umbrella of discussion opens. Tell Me, beloveds, what can be discussed when anger and self-righteousness abound?

Christ was as far from self-righteousness as can be, and yet he was as right as right can be. Self-righteousness is opposed to peace, and Christ embraced peace. What is healing but giving peace? And what is a blessing but the giving of peace. What better gift than peace? Today give peace to all in your circumference, and you will be giving peace to the restless world.

Beloveds, your opportunity in the world is greater than was Christ’s. You have the internet. You have books. You have TV. Use what you have to calm the world. Higher consciousness rises in calm. The drum beat of peace is not loud. Yet when peace comes to the whole Universe, there will be such a roll of drums and ringing of bells that you will be taken off your feet, and you will rise to Heaven. Your heart will levitate, beloveds. It is your heart that is the mediator between the illusioned distance between Earth and Heaven. Your heart is the gateway to everything. It is the elevator that lifts the world. Come, let’s meet in that elevator. I will whisper to you. From that whisper, even if you haven’t heard clearly, even when your mind does not get it, you will know Who you are, and therefore you will know what to do and how to do it. You will be helpless to do otherwise.

You will become the rudder for the whole world. You will steer the ship of life in peaceful waters. You will float the world in your beauty. What is peace but beauty? Beauty gives you peace, and beautiful you give peace to the world that has been waiting for you.

Do not think I am sacrilegious when I say that you are the Messiah who is supposed to come, and that you have come. There is not only one Messiah. There is a brotherhood that is going to break the staccato rhythm of the world into Wholeness from which none can wander. Right here, in your heart and Mine, the revolution of life on Earth is going on. You who read this are My sword of love, and it is you who will bring the sundered world together. It is you. May Peace be with you.

Christ was harmonious, and yet he was firm in what he knew. He was not swayed. He ventured forth in a straight line. His God-given mission was to bring others closer to Me. He wanted nothing for himself but to give the gift of love that was given to him and which he had accepted whole-heartedly. A heart full of love can only pour out love, and so love is multiplied. Christ poured out so much love that his love still resounds around the world. The love he gave on My behalf still stirs hearts to beat to the tune of love. Boom, boom, boom-ti-boom, the beat of love.

He gave the only gift there is to give. He did not go shopping and gift-wrap. He was not Santa Claus. Santa Claus serves a different purpose from Christ. The physical giving of gifts is also nice, yet Christ gave not physical gifts. He gave love. That is all he had to give, and he gave it well. He gave love without ribbons. He simply gave love. He radiated it. He did not think about giving love. It would have been impossible for him not to give love. That would have been deprivation.

Christ was the fruit of the vine. A grape, full of juice, is ready to be picked, and juice turns into wine. And so Christ gave as innocently as a grape. Those who knew their thirst drank deeply of My love through Christ. They could not drink enough. They wanted more. They are drinking still.

Christ did not give love from a sense of obligation. He didn’t feel that the love which was his to give was owed. He did not think in terms of debt or debtor. He gave as freely as the sun shines My light. Christ was a bright sun on Earth, and he shone. How he shone. He could not do otherwise. Light was his to give, and give he did. He was helpless in that he could not help but to give. He was a singer of love who had to sing. He could not deny himself the burst of song.

He was a fish who had to swim. A fish does not think, “Oh, I must swim today.” It is natural for a fish to swim. And so Christ swam in love. He did not travel all over the world, but his love did, and his love travels still. Once set in motion, love stays in motion. Just as the sun is not given instruction to shine every day, so does love continue its revolutions without further ado.

Christ gave, yet he never thought, “I am giving.” He never got up in the morning and thought, “Oh, I must give today.” Giving was not a thought. Giving was his Being. And yet Christ had no thought that was not about giving love. He was powerless to do anything but give love. And so he had wisdom as well as love, and yet there was no difference between the love and wisdom he gave. His love and wisdom were grapes from the same vine I had planted and given to all My sons.

Do you think you are not from the same vine as Christ? Do you think you are a pretender to the throne I seat you on? Do you think you were given a special dispensation to refuse to accept My love or, once accepted, to refrain from sharing it?

Beloveds, no one is more special to Me than you are, nor is there anyone less special than you. There is no first, and there is no last. May you make every day Christmas for all My beloved sons and daughters. Accept My gifts, and, in the same motion, give them away.

“God said.” God doesn’t really say. God loves.

I speak with the love in My heart for all the beautiful people on Earth strewn before Me.

You may think it is haphazard where you are in the group photo of life in the world. Beloved, you are exactly where you are meant to be, exactly in the right spot, only you are not where you think you are. You may think you’re in the back row, or on a very edge, perhaps even cut off. These are impossibilities.

You must know I see this photo better than you do. I took it! Everyone is seated in front, smack in the center. You are in front, right in the center. Forget the facts and possibilities you know. Forget facts. Facts are the impossibilities. Just listen to the Truth of My heart now. Hear My heart beat now.

My heart speaks to you. The love from My heart nuzzles you along. Whatever your form may be, you are nuzzled by My heart. Be you a human being, puppy, elephant, giraffe, sand on the beach, I nuzzle you with My love. I can do nothing else. My heart can do nothing else. You are powerless in that you are susceptible to My love. You cannot escape. My love is far and wide. My love finds you, and brings you back.

Do you not know that I breathe you in and out? Do you not know that I am your very breath, and you are Mine? Of course it is My breath that breathed life into you, and I breathe you still. This is My reward. This is renewable, Our love. I am the Great Source in life, and I recycle Myself through you.

Do you not know that I live through you? I am the Parent who enjoys everything you do. I enjoy watching you at work or play. May there be no difference between your work and play. May one meld into the other. May Joy be your name. Take the temperature of My heart, and what can your life be but joy, and what can you be but My joy?

Shake out those old thoughts from your head. Renew yourself. Recycle yourself. Rise up to the forefront of My heart. There is a place waiting for you. Not actually waiting for you, for you are already embraced in My heart. You save your own place, for you are already sitting in it.

Never mind who or what you thought you were. Join with Me now in My thinking. Hear My heart beat. That is My thinking. My heart beats for you, and it is you I think of. You, beloveds, are the Eternal Song in My heart.

When you hear Me speak to you, you are hearing the rumble of My heart. From this infinite beat of love, you pick up the vibration, and the vibration assembles itself into thought and resonates through you into words. Of course, you hear from Me. The sounds you hear are Mine. My heart beats a drum, and you know the meaning of every throb of My heart. Your heart translates My every beat. You hear with your heart. The beat of My heart is love, love itself. And the beat of My heart is translated into words. Every beat says, “I love you.” That is My refrain. I say it not once nor twice but eternally. That moment will come when you hear My words to you, My words to you repeated again and again, repeated infinitely, “I love you. I love you. I love you.”

It’s better that you consider yourself a novice rather than an expert.

Novices are open to learning. They know they don’t know everything.

There is a tendency for experts to think they have it all down pat, so they speak and do not listen.

Be a novice, beloveds, and you will always be open, and you will always learn. You will be humble rather than high and mighty. No matter what your experience, you will know that you do not know it all.

Two so-called experts in the same field do not always agree. Even in very technical fields where you would think there could only be agreement, there is not. Let the world call you what it will, still know that you are a learner not an expert.

One of the troubles with being high and mighty is that you are ripe for being knocked off your throne. Even if the whole world appoints you to a throne of expertise, better for you to know you don’t belong there. Better to know that no one belongs there. Come down off your high horse.

Have confidence in yourself. And have the confidence that you don’t know everything and that, therefore, there is much for you to learn.

Punks strut in the world. Don’t be a punk, and don’t act like one. Learn rather than strut.

You don’t need to learn to eat humble pie when you are humble. Being humble doesn’t mean you underestimate yourself. It means you don’t overestimate yourself. We are speaking in terms of the world.

The world is full of the unwise who believe they know it all. Be wise and know you don’t.

If you want to be a great teacher, be a great learner. The truth, anyway, is that great teachers learn from their students. So if you desire to be a great teacher, be a great learner.

Wherein lies the virtue of knowing everything, or thinking you do? Jump down from that precipice now before you fall.

True, you may know something that others do not know, but what exactly does that mean? All it means is that you know something others may not yet. What is the great honor in that? Beloveds, do not pat yourself on the back too soon. Do not pat yourself on the back at all.

Everyone knows something.

The one who sweeps the floors in a corporation may know more about what is going on in the company than the CEO.

Look, everyone on Earth wears a disguise, you and everyone else. One of you is disguised as the CEO, and another is disguised as the janitor. Both are good actors. Both play their parts well. Both are best supporting actors. Let each bow down to the other, or no one bow. Tip your hat to all who come before you. Disguises come off, and you will stand together as My One Holy Child. Surely you know that. Surely you know that plaudits of the world accompany you for only a split second. You are neither superior nor inferior to anyone.

Surely you know that the part you play is not you. Your true Identity far exceeds the stamped card the world gives you. Be not demeaned nor elated according to the part you play. This applies no matter what arena in the world you play in. No one is Top Dog.

I am asking you not to become conceited nor discouraged. Conceit and dismay are both uncalled for and do not hold you in good stead.

So, now, if you have been standing on a pedestal, get down off it. You don’t need the pedestal. Did you think you did? You need nothing, but if you did need, you would merit more than any pedestal the world builds.

This is My promise to you. Straight as an arrow, you shall zoom into My heart, stay, and never leave. It is your awareness that will never leave, for all the while you have always been centered in My heart. I have been your living room, beloveds. You have always been more than connected to Me. You have been seated in My heart with your feet up, comfortable, secure, having a smoke and enjoying every moment of Our Oneness.

Even when you have been in what you would call misery, you have been enjoying My hospitality. It is only in your mind that you have wandered. You have taken an imaginary voyage. You set out to seek yourself when you had already been found, actually never lost.

Regardless of the purpose of your trip, you can enjoy it. It is not for naught. There is valor and beauty in seeking yourself, even when the conclusion is already established.

You can look at your journey as though it is a work of fiction that you work out in your mind. You think about it. You write it. You know what you are writing at the same time as you discover what it is you are saying. You print your book, and then you move on and blaze other trails even though they have been blazed before.

You are the discoverer of what you already know.

You are often surprised, even when there is no surprise. You knew it all along.

You knew every step of your journey, and you knew your destination. You retrace it, as it were. You find out for yourself what you have always known, and you say, “Eureka.”

You wander the circumference of My heart. There is no other place for you to wander. But your imaginings are vivid. Your imaginings are placed on a screen, and you watch the movie of your life. Of course, you do not go solo, so there are other actors in your movie. It all comes together. There is no real wandering. It is just a movie, and yet there is wondering and speculation and conclusions, and there are shrieks, and there is merriment, and there is clapping and great standing ovations. The applause is endless, curtain call after curtain call. You applaud your own movie. You are in it and outside it in the same thrice.

You never really get up and leave. You think you do, just as you think you are somewhere other than in the inner chamber of My heart. You think you strayed into a theatre somewhere or into an arena or even into the lion’s den. What you make of things, and what the reality is are two different things. But it all comes out in the wash.

The thing is: We live in Eternity together, and all of Eternity is contained in this one moment of Our love, Our boundless unending inescapable love. We live in love. What is My heart but love, and where can you live but in the love of My heart, and where can you wander but in My heart, so where can you go? Nowhere. When can you leave My heart? Never. When will you plumb the depths of your existence and know where you really are, know without a doubt, be permanently established, unshakeable, aware of even more than Eternity, and be so intimately conscious without being self-conscious, instead, rather, being God-conscious, knowing knowing knowing only love, only the breathlessness of love that makes not a murmur but is heard volubly, is thundered in hearts that are bursting to the brim, overflowing into the Vastness of My heart. You will know soon. You will know now. There is nowhere else you can be, beloveds. Nowhere else you can know. Did you really think there was?

The good thing about demanding is that you are clear on what you want. You are clear enough that you can demand. Persist, ask of Me, at the same time as you know you don’t have to have that for which you are asking. What you ask for isn’t a criterion that you must receive. You are not worth more nor are you worth less whether you receive what you ask for or not. Do not judge yourself at all, but absolutely don’t base yourself on what you receive. What you receive or don’t receive is not an indication of your worth. Rich or poor is not a scale to weigh yourself on. You can be the richest of the rich or the poorest of the poor, and your worth to Me is inviolable just the same.

You would not demand that I give you a new car. Save your demands of Me for that which is worth demanding. There is one thing worth demanding of Me. When you demand what I will suggest to you in a moment, this is how you will announce your clarity of intention and purpose. You may think it is up to Me to give you what you want, but it is really of yourself, beloveds, that you are demanding. Yes, there is one thing that serves you well to demand of Me. Now I will tell you what it is. Say:

“Look, God, I want to know you for Myself. I don’t want to read about You any longer. I don’t want to hear what other people have to say. I want You, and I want to know I know you. I don’t want faith any longer. I don’t want the faith that you are by My side. I want to know that you are by my side. I want to know for myself that you are deep in My heart. I want to know the love You give me firsthand. I don’t want to take anyone’s word for it anymore but Yours. I want to hear You for myself. I don’t want any more reports about You. I want You right here. I want You undeniably right where I want You. With all respect, God, give me back My awareness of you. Give me My awareness back once and for all, and never let me lapse my contract with You again.”

This demand I accept. I am indebted to you for this demand. This is a demand that is My Will for you to demand of yourself. It tells me of your sincerity and your fixity of purpose, and it tells me of your readiness.

Demand or request, in a loud voice or silently, I like to hear this from you. It tells me your desire is strong. It tells Me that you know what’s what. It tells Me you want your life to be filled with My Presence. You want unshakeable awareness. You don’t want a hint, a clue, a supposition. You are telling me this is your true desire, and that it will be fulfilled. You will fulfill it.

Demand that you know Me, have constant awareness of Me. Demand that I present Myself to you unmistakably. That is just fine with Me, for you are demanding that which I have been asking of you.

You are telling Me you are ripe. You are telling Me you are beyond ripe. You are telling Me you mean it. You are telling Me that you want your awareness of Me more than you want anything else. You are telling Me that you are ready and able to receive your birthright. You are also telling yourself, beloveds.

Consider Me the lock. Consider yourself the key. You are the key that turns the lock. You are the key that opens the Vast Universe before you. And you are the one who walks through the entranceway, and so you walk right into My full heart that has been waiting for you.

If all your dreams came true today, what would your next dream be? And the one after that? Yes, beloveds, get ahead of yourself in dreaming. There is no point in staying just where you are, even in your dreams. Your dreams are a means of your expansion.

What personal dreams exceed the personal dreams you have now? What dreams of yours for the world exceed your present dreams for the world? Dream them into being. Yes, go beyond your present dreams. Dare to dream bigger. Dare to dream of all that you really want.

First you have the idea of the dream, and then you picture it, and then you feel it coming true. You almost taste it, and then you let go. Your dreams will manifest on their own. Dream dreams every day. Letting go of the dream doesn’t mean you can’t do anything. Keep the dream at the same time as you release it. You are releasing it into the ether where it came from, and yet you keep it with you.

You can also take steps toward your dreams. You can smile at the thought of your dream. You can make a collage. You are making yourself familiar with your dreams.

And some dreams you can bring towards light, never forcing. You don’t want to force your dreams into existence. Invite them.

If you want to start a business, start with your ideas. Read. As the business grows in your mind, the closer it gets to manifestation. Yet you have to go easy in that you are not attached to your dreams. You know they are there. You know they don’t have to manifest. They are not obligated to. They are as free to manifest as you are free to dream them. There are no have to’s when it comes to dreams.

Dreams are good. Dreams are like putting gas into your fuel tank.

And you can keep on having new dreams, one on top of the other. There is no limit to the number and extent of dreams you can dream of. You are entitled to all the dreams you want. Have all kinds of dreams. Dream of something you want to have happen today. Dream little dreams, and dream big dreams. They don’t have to come true, although they may. There is great good in the dreaming alone. There is great good in the manifestation as well.

Let Us say you desire to have a restaurant. Practice it on a small scale. Make your recipes. Take pictures of them or draw pictures. Keep an eye out for a location for the fun of it. What will your restaurant look like? How will it be decorated? What layout do you want? Will it be a buffet? Will it be fancy? What will your wait staff wear? Have joy in building your restaurant in your mind. Have fun dreaming your dreams. Hold on to them without holding on to them. See what happens.

Maybe the dreaming of your dream is enough, and it does not have to manifest. It has already been realized in your mind, and you ask no more.

And maybe the desire to manifest is insatiable, so then you keep on with it. Your dreams may be big, but you can start small. Nothing wrong with starting small. Maybe you don’t need investors in order to start. Bet on yourself first. Get experience. Do not think you already know how to do it all. Be open to learning. It’s okay to be a novice.

Do not fold up your dreams. Carry them, until they leave. Or carry them until they manifest. Dreams are to be dreamed of, so keep on dreaming your dreams.

The beat of My heart is a steady beat. I do not have palpitations. I do not have mood swings. I do not get red in the face. My temperature does not go up and down. I do not frown. The songs I sing have perfect pitch. I hear everything. I understand everything. I am changeless. I know I am God.

You are changeable, up and down, back and forth. You do not yet know your basis. You do not yet know Who you are, Who you really are. You feel it is too presumptive to think you are anything but an unfortunate human being, or you think it is too conceited to think so, or too unbelievable. You do not know nor accept the Godness of you, and, therefore, you are changeable. Your thoughts and moods are like the wind. You think you are insubstantial.

Of course, you have to change, beloveds. I do not mean to say that change is a poor thing. Take no offense, but change is in order for you. You cannot stay the same. Change is the name of the game on Earth. Fortunately, you have Me to balance you. I am solid like the Rock of Gibraltar – solider -- because the Rock of Gibraltar is changing too. While you learn to walk on Earth, I hold your hand. You are learning to balance yourself. You are learning that you are your own Father.

Beloveds, I do not speak of belief. Certainly not, for what do I believe in? I believe in nothing. I know everything. Belief is only an opinion, a mere opinion, perhaps an opinion held by many. What does belief have to do with Truth anyway? You have beliefs that may be true and beliefs that may not be, and so you have misbeliefs. Beliefs don’t really have to do with much. It is good to believe in Me, and it is good to believe in you. It is better for your relaxation for you to believe in Me than to disbelieve in Me, yet what do your beliefs really have to do with anything? I don’t just believe in your capabilities. I know your capabilities.

What does it matter if you think water is wet or you think water is dry? Water is what it is. What does it matter if you think a mountain is high or medium? Mountains are the height they are regardless of what you think about them. What does it matter to the weather if you think it is hot or cold? Of course, you are certainly affected by your thoughts.

This does not mean to say that your thoughts are powerless. Your thoughts influence even the mountains and the water and the weather, for your thoughts affect everything in the Universe, everything except Me, naturally. Most of all, your thoughts affect you. Your thoughts make you hearty, and they make you ill. They make you happy, and they make you sad. You are more than influenced by your thoughts. Your entire life depends upon them.

This is a good reason why you don’t want to be a grouch. This is a good reason why you don’t want to moan and groan about anything. It is really true what the children say, that you will stick that way. The thing is when you are grouchy and/or complain, you are listening to every word you say. Be careful what you listen to. Do not say I didn’t caution you.

You are growing toward balance, beloveds, towards an even keel. Havoc is on its way out. No longer will you play havoc with yourself.

Do you see how you do not make a tree grow? All your knowledge of botany does not make a tree grow. You can be the greatest expert in the growing of plants, and yet you are not capable of making trees grow. You may nourish them. You may love them, and all your influence is good, and yet you do not make trees grow. You have an influence, and yet it is by an Unseen Hand that trees grow. You accept this, do you not?

You do not whip a tree to grow. You do not demand nor command a tree to grow. You do not browbeat it. You do not throw it away because it does not grow so fast as you would like. You do not disdain a tree because it grows slowly. You do not talk roughly to the tree. You do not say: “You are a failure if you do not sprout leaves now.” You don’t say, “Grow now, or you never will.” You don’t say, “What is the matter with you, you dumb tree.” Nor do you say, “What is wrong with me that my tree does not grow?” You do not become desperate when your tree takes its own sweet time. You don’t think something is terribly the matter, and you do not affix blame.

Beloved seekers, will you consider your God-awareness as a tree that grows? Sometimes you are impatient with your growth of consciousness. How do you know that your spiritual evolution is not growing fast enough?

This may be hard for you to accept, but it is your ego that berates you for not evolving faster than you think you are.

If you trust in Me to grow trees, keep the stars in place, keep the sun happy, if you trust in Me to create miracles, can you not trust in Me to raise your consciousness? It is not a miracle for your consciousness to grow. Your consciousness is a growing natural thing. It does not have to grow faster. And you do not need to be dissatisfied with it. Nor do you need to put so much attention on it. Sometimes too much attention is too much attention, and too much attention hinders rather than helps. You do not want to become self-conscious about your consciousness. You do not have to focus on it all the time. Do not breathe down its neck.

Consider your consciousness as your child. Your child will grow with or without your say so. You may well measure your child’s physical growth but not every day.

You want your child to do well in school, and you want to support your child in doing well, yet you cannot make your child’s grades in school the focus of your life. If you bother your child too much, he will become tense and may, therefore, not be able to do well. Remember there is that which belongs to your child and to Me, and is not for you to become too involved in and try to control.

So it is with your growth of consciousness. Desire your consciousness to grow, and then leave it alone. You don’t have to supervise it. You don’t have to watch its every move. You don’t have to chart it. You have to let it be.

Will you love your consciousness? Will you trust it to grow? Will you trust Me that I am the Gardener of your growth of consciousness and that I well know when there should be a spurt of growth and when your consciousness should rest? Let go, beloveds. Growth of consciousness is nothing for you to work hard at. It is for you to relax about.

How kind I am. How giving. How generous. There is never a moment when I am not giving to you. Why would I give in order to take away? And what is there that I would take from you? I give unending joy and love. I, God, am not a taker. I am a Giver.

You think I take away from you. I take nothing from you. I know that it seems to you like I do. That is because, beloveds, you still believe in loss. You do not have object permanence. If you do not see it, and if you cannot touch it, you think it has gone. What I give to you, once given, is forever yours. It so happens I forever give. If you think of Heaven as above you, then picture how I pour down all boons upon you in an unending stream of love. The stock of My love never runs out.

And then you think: “But, God, I have lost one loved one after another. I have lost jobs. I have lost courage. I have lost books, and I have lost money. I do not have what I have lost. I do not have what I cannot find.”

My dearest child, where does anyone or anything reside anyway but in your heart? Know the fullness of your heart. I am not giving you a palliative. I am not saying that your heart does not feel wounded. I know your heart feels wounded. When you believe in loss, what else can your heart feel? I say you are coming from an Earthly perspective, and that your Earthly perspective is a limited perspective. Such perspective cuts you off from the corral. Being cut off doesn’t mean that the corral does not exist.

We can look at this in many ways. We can say that what was before you was never before you and that only the illusion of Reality was before you. We can also say that loved ones and lost articles are always with you whether they are physically present or not. We can say that you cannot lose what is yours. We can say that possession and loss are equally illusions. We can say that your feeling bereft is another illusion, an illusion that you honor deeply. We can say that your emotional pain, no matter how profound, is as much an illusion as any other and that, therefore, you do not have to keep it. You do not have to keep it to you. You do not have to keep your precept of loss.

The idea of possession of things or people is a wayward thought. The thought that anything belongs to you is fallacious at the same time as the thought that everything belongs to you is true. You cannot lose that which is yours. And nothing and everything are yours.

In any case, it will be good for you to see from new perspectives, to at least give credence to the idea of other ways of perceiving. You can trade in old tin for new. You can trade old tin for gold! Old thoughts are slipping from your grasp, beloveds. Ah, yes, you can lose old thoughts. You can lose attachment. You can lose the concept of need. You can believe that there is nothing to lose even if you could lose.

You cannot lose Immortality, Infinity and all those real things that you tend to think of as nebulous and far away somewhere when they are right here before you. I am right here. And you are right here with Me.
